DocBookDemo - is the web application to demonstrate abilities of RenderX
web engine. It's designed to generate output documents in different formats from XML files in the
DocBook format, using powerful
XEP formatter and
well-known open source DocBook XSL stylesheets library .
You can use one of prepared XML samples or you can upload own xml files in the DocBook format and generate
output documents in PDF, HTML and SVG formats. Also you can specify output paper format: US Letter, US Legal, A4, A3.
There are some limitations: size of each file you're uploading must not be larger than 2 Mb;
summary size of all uploaded files must not be larger than 10 Mb; you can upload xml/dbx file
only if it is successfully validated according to DocBook DTD schema.
To get the full advantage of this demo, you need to have a modern Web browser that supports
Extensible HyperText Markup Language (XHTML) 1.1 ,
Cascading Style Sheets (CSS) level 2 and JavaScript,
as well as the ability to view
Adobe Portable Document Format (PDF) 1.4
and Scalable Vector Graphics (SVG) 1.1 files.
